My sweet husband took my son out for some errand-running today. Scott asked for some tasks, so I sent him off to about six different stores to return merchandise we had purchased at Christmas and never needed (extra gifts). Scott is getting Grant "out of my hair," so I can work on these two, new subjects I am going to start teaching in one week!!! I am totally excited. I was finishing off the Economics syllabus when the phone rang...guess who?
"Hello," I said.
"Mommy, I big boy now," Grant stated with pride and excitement.
I asked him, "What makes you a big boy?"
"I go peepee like Daddy."
"You went peepee standing up, like Daddy?"
"Yes, I stand up and go peepee."
Now, I must admit, I am really proud of my little guy. He went potty standing up. He did this a couple of weeks ago with the crew at Disneyland. We (Gramma, Aunt Kris, Lisa, and me) helped him (in the family restroom...that's how we all fit) go potty standing up. We all clapped and cheered him on, but then no mention of it until today! He had done it again. This is cool. I'll see if I can find the picture of all of us in the restroom together. We were laughing hysterically that I had my camera for the event! Hey, that's what senior yearbooks are for...right?
