Disneyland or Bust!!

Well, I am proud to say that Aunt Kris has finally talked her sister and friend into buying season passes to Disneyland (like the rest of us fools). So, we all decided to go together after work on Friday!! We had a blast. I must admit everyone would have stayed until the park closed, but I wanted to leave 30 minutes earlier (at 11:30 pm) which I am sure I will not hear the end of it...but I was tired.

We had so much fun. Grant loves Disneyland. He loves the fact that we go, he can ride rides, he gets sips of Granma or Aunt Kris' cokes, he gets to go on the Merry-go-round, he gets to eat candy and popcorn, he gets to stay up LATE, and best of all he gets to see Mickey Mouse!!!

Aunt Diney and Lisa had been there since noonish. Granma, Aunt Kris, Grant and I didn't meet up with them until 6ish...clearly, they were ready to take a break and eat. So, we ate dinner at the Carnation Cafe and then went off to ride some rides. We went to California Adventure first and then back over to the main park.

Everyone took turns riding certain rides with Grant and switching off on the adult rides, too. We seem to have a systematic way of utilizing our time to the fullest ability!! You would probably be amazed at the amount of things we did in such a short time. Before we knew it, it was 11:30pm and I called the evening to an end. However, it took us sometime getting to Lisa's car...that was funny.

One thing that all of us couldn't believe is that all retail stores and even Disneyland are skipping Thanksgiving. They go from Halloween to Christmas. So, in an effort to bring Thanksgiving stuff back, we are starting a "Turkey Awareness" campaign. Bring Thanksgiving back...gotta run, Grant is yelling to me that dinner is ready. He is so cute. Boy am I lucky, a cute kid, a cute and talented cooking husband...life is good.
