On June 10, 2007 Grant was baptized at our Methodist church. He was so happy and at the same time (probably didn't quite understand).
Well to start off, we asked my brother to be his Godfather and our cousins Lisa & Tracy to be Grant's Godmothers. All agreed, except my brother and family were unable to attend (unforunately), but I know they were there in spirit!!
I am so happy to say that we feel so comfortable at this church and Grant has a special relationship with our leader, Pastor Mary. He is very willing to hug & kiss on her. He even likes to give her Eskimo kisses. It is so cute.
Anyway, to start the festivities, we went the day before to bless the water and run through the ceremony with everyone. I am glad that we did because it gave Grant a chance to see what would be going on and spend some more time with Pastor Mary.
The ceremony was not too long and it was during church. Everyone was invited afterward to our house for a BBQ and some cake!! Grant had a blast! Here are some great pictures. Thank you everyone for coming and sharing in our special day.
