Tonight, Grant and I went to our local Wal-Mart in search of some items of necessity. You know our typical trip to a store. We have a list of six items and somehow end up with about 20. Yikes! Well, we decided to visit the "fishies." Grant has a tank, but his fish had died after having him for about two weeks (this was before summer). So, it was time. We both felt we needed some fishies. Plus, we had an empty tank in the garage on a self. We couldn't let it sit empty any longer.
Grant couldn't make up his mind, so I picked out two fantail goldfish. One was gold in color and the other calico. So, we were excited that they survived the trip home (especially since we had to stop at the post office and I couldn't leave them in the car...I wished you could have seen the look on people's faces when we walked in with a bag of goldfish...priceless). Sorry, I digress.
Well, once we got home and made the tank all comfy. We put the two fish in and I asked Grant what are their names. He kept calling one of them Dorothy...you know like the fantail goldfish on Sesame Street...you know Elmo's best friend. Well, I thought for sure he would tell me that their names are Dorothy. He didn't. In fact, he didn't say anything until we were saying goodnight to them. I said, "that one is Dorothy and that one is Wiggles." I only thought of the second name because Grant's favorite show is "The Wiggles." Well, he corrected me by saying, "No, Mommy. That one is Wiggle and that one is Wiggle." I asked him if he was sure that he wanted to name them both Wiggle...he agreed. So, we have two fishies, both of whom share the name, "Wiggle." Cute, huh??

Very cute! Natalie had a blue beta fish named Blue, of course.
