Well, we went to the fair. Actually, Grant, Scott and Granma went to the Fair on Friday. Mommy, Daddy and Grant went to the fair today. I will try to post some of the pictures from Friday at a later date (as I have to get them from Granma). I've heard she got some good ones of Grant sitting on the goats!
Today, we met some friends of ours at the fair and their two, little girls. We started out at the animals and worked our way over to a Children's exhibit before heading to the indoor exhibits (where you can buy everything under the moon...which I showed great self-control and purchased NOTHING!!...it was too crowded or else I would have given in).
Grant, Socorro and Audry seemed to really love the animals. They saw cows (even being milked), goats, bunnies (of every shape and color and size), chickens, ducks, roosters, llamas, a zorse (cross between a zebra and horse), a zonkey (cross between zebra and donkey), horses, etc. One of the best parts of today was "The Great American Horse Ride." Yeah, this is a fancy name for a pony ride. Grant loved it!!! Socorro loved it so much, she immediately wanted back on (who can blame her).
We ended up going to an indoor exhibit and Grant wanted two things: "choo choo train and bire tuck." That would be the train set on a table and the fire truck exhibit. We went to an outdoor train exhibit. It was so neat. It was probably the largest model train exhibit I have ever seen. Those things are so cool and have so much detail.
By the time we made it to the exhibit halls with all the merchandise, I was too tired to shop or deal with the crowds. Oh, did I mention it was the last day of the fair. Yeah, that could have had something to do with it. Oh, well!! We had a blast. Enjoy the photos!
