A Few Firsts...

Yes, of course Grant still has his "firsts." So, the past three days, I have witnessed three "firsts!!"

Friday, October 6, 2006:
I witnessed Grant receive a piece of a fruit roll-up from Lisa ("Eeesa") and he said, "thank you" without me instructing him to do so. Yes, the boy has manners...well, at least for that one moment!

Saturday, October 7, 2006:
I witnessed Grant potty in the "big potty!!" Yes, I helped him and yes, most of it ended up on the seat...but he did it nonetheless. He even told me that he was a "big boy" for using the potty. Now, don't kid yourself, he didn't want to and I had to coax him into doing it because he could get to wash his hands afterward. He loves to play in the soap and water.

Sunday, October 8, 2006:
He totally loves to knock over his bucket of blocks. I think it is for two obvious reasons...it makes a mess and it makes a lot of noise. These two reasons make everything fun in Grant's life. Anyway, he did that today and I had him help me put them back in the bucket. The boy knows at least red and blue. I say this because I asked him to put all of the blue blocks away first and he did!!! All of them. He even saw one that was across the room and he got up to get it before starting on our next color RED!! Well, as for the yellow and green...purple and orange are not too far off, right?

Yeah, Scott leaves for a weekend and see what I got...a few firsts! Of course, when Grant does these things in front of Scott for the first time...then, they will be a "first" for him!! I would have included some photos but the camera is on vacation with Scott. Take care
