Easter Egg Hunts...Is that plural??

Okay, so Grant went to a few Easter Egg Hunts. Actually, he only went to two. The one to the left is one at his "Parent & Me" class that he and Scott go to every Monday morning. It is a three hour class that they get to socialize and hang with some of my mom-friends and their children. As you can see, Grant was not quite use to the idea of what exactly an Easter Egg Hunt was at the time.

Now, by the second one he went to (pictures at the top) he was well versed in what to do. He had remembered from the previous one that the goal was to collect eggs and since they are in the shape of a ball...well, it wasn't a hard task to get him to do. He was a little disappointed in the second Easter Egg Hunt because they were real dyed eggs. I think he preferred the ones with "Conny" (candy) inside.

He liked his basketball Easter basket so well that when we bought it at the store he wore it as a hat. He proceeded to tell everyone passing by that he was wearing a "ball hat." I would tell him it wasn't a hat but a basket. He would then correct me and say it was a "baketball hat." Well, after awhile you just start to agree with him. Yes, son it is a basketball hat. When you think about it, he was kindof right. If you turned the basket upside down it could double as a hat and the handle a strap holding it on (like his bike helmet). Pretty clever...how wonderful it is to view life in the eyes of a 22 month old.
