Our Little Shepard Boy

Grant was a shepard again this year in the church Christmas program. He practiced his two songs and his three lines. He was ready. We went to the rehearsal...which was a little chaotic. Everything was good. It was almost too smooth. I was worried.

The day of (last Sunday), we arrived and put on our costume. The excitment was in the air. In fact, the excitement was starting to get to Grant. He became a little "wild." So, I had to regulate. Then, he met up with his two shepard buddies (Andy and Andrew). Then, they gave the boys five foot staffs. OH MY!!!

Bottomline, he read his line, sang his songs and did not hit anyone with the staff (a couple of stars and flags...but no people). :) It was success!!! I was so proud. What was the reward? Playdoh Spaghetti Factory. No, I am not kidding. Oh, and the privilege to continue to play Fishville.

How could you doubt Grant? I knew he had it in him. Happy Holidays!
