Happy Grandparents Day!!

On Thursday, Grant brought home a really cool handprint with a message that read, "Happy Grandparents Day!" Hmmm, better check my calendar. Okay, all you new parents, there is a day that we celebrate our parents who are now our child's GRANDPARENTS!! Yeah!! They definitely deserve the recognition, plus why not make up another reason to hang out with the Grandparents. I mean if you ask Grant he would tell us to have Grandparents day everyday. Grant loves both of his Grandpas (Gary and Bill), but he LOVES Grandma. So, he was excited to give her what he made. So, we asked them to breakfast. We had a wonderful breakfast with Grandma and Grandpa.

Then, Grant wanted to call Grandpa Bill and tell him. So, we called Grandpa Bill and told him Happy Grandparents Day. When he was on the phone with my dad (who lives in Arkansas), he told him about the alarm clock that he had bought him (and even "acted out" the alarm sound), preschool, and called the hogs!!! My dad was tickled. Dad tried to ask Grant, "How did you like preschool? Did you make some friends? Are you getting up early?" Grant responded with, "Hmmmm, hmmm, ummm." We decided that asking a three-year old three questions in a row...not so good. Love to all the Grandparents and thanks for the love and care you give the little Gman!
