Okay, here goes...this guy and this girl go out on a date and meet Adam Carolla (talk show host, Love Lines, The Man Show, etc.). Anywho, they meet him, take pictures with him, and watch his movie The Hammer (which is THE BEST).
Next day, the couple are so excited about the meeting that the girl decides to show her mother-in-law the picture of the three of them (boy, girl and Adam Carolla)...the girl gets her son and goes to church. The girl lost her camera somewhere between Mom's house and church...True Story, But So Sad. :)....no posts until I can get a camera....still looking. I loved my Canon but I want to investigate a little more...plus, my dad might send me some replacement money (he felt really bad for me...thanks dad).

Disneyland with Grandma and Aunt Diney

Grant and his Aunt Diney
At Disneyland Grant had a blast. Why? Well, besides the fact it is Disneyland, the world was revolving around him. Aunt Diney, Grandma, Grant and I went to Disneyland together. Well, right when we went into the park we headed for the Bug's Life part. Aunt Diney and Grant rode the first ride together...the bumper cars. Grant is a lover of driving any car. Well, the unfortunate part is Aunt Diney said she'd ride with him...little did she know that means you literally have to "ride" and cannot help Grant steer the vehicle...this is a problem b/c Grant CANNOT STEER STRAIGHT. Oh, the fun Carol and I had watching them go in circles.
A "F" in Preschool?
Oh, I've been meaning to tell this story since Grant first started preschool. Well, I am not sure how you feel about grades, but I do not think it marks your knowledge of a subject. When I think of preschool, I do not think of grades. When Grant first came home with work back in September, well I was surprised to see "F"s on his papers, drawings, creations, etc. Within a week I figured out that he was in classroom F and that was why "F" was on his paper. They would create work outside or leave certain work to dry. So, I thought it appropriate the other day at Disneyland to take a picture of Grant by the "F" in California in front of the California Adventure side. He said, "hey everyone, it's a F...can you take my picture." The child does not request pictures, so I think we all see the connection. :)
What's A Doodlebop?
Well, we went to see the Doodlebops Live a couple of weekends ago. Grant was so happy. His Grandma Carol is a super cool grandma and always is up on all the concerts that are coming Grant's way. She bought us tickets about eight months ago to see the Doodlebops Live. I like the Doodlebops because I have realized they are very 80s. I figured this out at the show when one of the lead singers (Moe) was break dancin' on the stage. Their tunes are very pop and hip hop. There are three of them and I am not sure exactly what they are...you decide. Deedee is pink, Moe is yellow and Rooney is blue!

Worried about Waylon!
We had a scare today with our little guys, Willie and Waylon. We were getting ready to go to Grace's birthday party (she turned six). Well, I walked into the living room and saw the back door wide open. Willie was at the door looking out. However, when I walked in the room Willie backed away quickly. We then started the "search party" for Waylon. We were running late to the birthday party and had checked every hiding place we could think of in our house. We headed to the party but our mind was on our little guy. When we returned home, we found him in that position!!!!!!!!!!! We loved on him for so long it was incredible!! Our little guys are safe from the coyotes of the foothills.

Our Dogs Might Keep Us...No, Really!
Today, we celebrated Presidents' Day in a glorious fashion....well, at least our dogs think so. When we got up, I was not expecting Scott to be off (he is never off on holidays...well, almost never because we take off so many other times throughout the year). Anyway, we were discussing some ideas of what we could do and I remembered there are some dog beaches around. So, we went to the Huntington Beach Dog Beach!! Our dogs were in Heaven, so was Grant. We had a blast and everyone was tired and wet by the end of the visit. In fact, Scott and I were laughing at how wet Grant was and how unprepared we were for that. He had to ride home without pants and just in underwear and a towel. LOL
Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I did taking them, until my camera battery went out. That was too funny because Scott said I was only able to get about 100 pictures. I actually got about 140 before it went down...just kidding. I did (and do) take a lot.
